Have you ever read something and thought one thing, only to have your friend read the same thing and think another?

We will see that today with poetry. How you interpret poetry is based on your own personal experiences, not just the author's experience!

We are going to look at Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky" (the author of "Alice in Wonderland") and how differently people have interpreted some of the nonsense words used in this poem!

**Also used in this study will be two books: "Jabberwocky", as reimagined and illustrated by Christopher Myers and "Jabberwocky" with illustrations from the Disney Archives.
